Treehouse Tour
Del Sol Treehouse is located in Rosny, Hobart and unfolds across two thoughtfully designed levels, each with its own entrance. Curated for up to two guests per level, the layout strikes a gentle balance between a shared experience and private retreat, making it equally suitable for couples travelling together or guests seeking quiet separation within the same home.
Guests may book the entire property or reserve a single level to suit their stay. When one level is booked on its own, the other becomes unavailable to reservations, to allow guests maximum privacy during their stay.

The Canopy, the upper level of Del Sol Treehouse, is a generous and light-filled retreat designed for slow living and shared moments. It features a fully equipped kitchen for relaxed meals, a luxurious bathroom with an oversized shower, and an alfresco deck with a high bar overlooking sweeping views of the Derwent River. Outside, the hammock is ideal for quiet afternoons with a book, while the expansive daybed invites lingering moments of rest, reflection, or watching the sky change as day drifts into night.
Seahorse Studio
The Seahorse Studio, the lower level of Del Sol Treehouse, is a quiet and cocooning retreat designed for privacy and deep rest. It features a generous king bed for restorative sleep, a simple breakfast bar for slow mornings, and a softly lit bathroom with an indulgent bathtub, ideal for long, unhurried soaks after a day of exploring.
Location
Del Sol Treehouse is located in Rosny on Hobart’s eastern shore, just 20 minutes from Hobart Airport and under 10 minutes by car from Hobart city centre. The nearby Derwent Ferry terminal is a 20 minute stroll away, offering direct access to the MONA ferry and the historic waterfront, including Salamanca Markets. This central yet peaceful position makes Del Sol Treehouse an ideal base for exploring the highlights of Southern Tasmania.
Rosny is a quiet residential enclave that strikes a balance between natural beauty and everyday convenience. Elevated above the river, the area is known for its sweeping views across the Derwent and Tasmania’s distinctive landscape, setting the tone for a calm, elevated stay just moments from the city.
Wander through the nearby Rosny Reserve, which offers bushland walking tracks and scenic lookouts revealing panoramic views of the Tasman Bridge, kunanyi/Mount Wellington and the Hobart skyline. The foreshore paths, beaches and open spaces of Bellerive are also close by, providing easy access to fresh air, water and relaxed outdoor experiences.
Everyday essentials are within easy reach, with shops, cafes and dining options including Eastlands Shopping Centre around a 15 minute walk away, either through the neighbourhood or along the scenic Kangaroo Bay foreshore. With multiple Metro bus stops nearby and ferry connections across the river, Rosny offers simple, well-connected access to Hobart’s cultural, culinary and natural attractions.
