About the role
Del Sol Treehouse is a design-led, two-level stay located in Rosny, just outside Hobart.
​
We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy and detail-focused housekeeper to support guest turnovers and help maintain a consistent, high standard across the property.
​
This is a flexible subcontractor role suited to someone looking for ongoing, casual work or a supplementary income.
​
You will be working independently within a beautiful, well-designed environment, with clear systems and processes in place.

About the property
The home features:

Two levels with separate guest spaces

A king and queen bedroom, two bathrooms, a full kitchen and kitchenette

A wrap-around balcony with views across the Derwent and a whimsical garden

A strong focus on styling, presentation and a highly curated guest experience

What the role involves
The primary responsibility is preparing the property between guest stays to ensure it is clean, reset and ready for arrival.
​
This includes:

Turnover of one or both levels, depending on bookings
-
Resetting beds, linen and soft furnishings
-
Linen management, including transport and laundering
-
Restocking basic provisions and amenities, and setting up VIP guest gifts
-
Managing stock levels and flagging when items need to be reordered
-
Light styling and presentation of the space
-
Identifying and reporting any damage or maintenance issues
-
Acting as the “eyes and ears” of the property
-
Occasional additional tasks as required, such as deep cleans, provision collection or emergency call outs

Work schedule and requirements

Approximately 15 turnovers per month
-
Usually spaced every 2 to 3 days, with some back-to-back days
-
Turnovers range from approximately 90 minutes to 3 hours, depending on the scope

Turnovers are time-sensitive and must be completed before guest arrival
Requirements:

ABN (subcontractor arrangement)

Reliable transport
-
Access to laundry facilities, including a dryer (home or laundromat)

Availability between 11am and 3pm on turnover days

Some weekend and public holiday availability required

Consistency and attention to detail are essential to the success of this role.

​Physical requirements
The role includes stairs, lifting and general movement throughout the space during turnovers. A reasonable level of fitness is required to comfortably manage the work.

Additional information

All cleaning products and supplies are provided on site

Structured systems and processes are in place for scheduling and stock management

Full training, including styling and bedmaking, will be provided

This role is paid at a flat rate per turnover, reflective of the scope of each space
